The Panel Talk for 2026 for our Mentor Class 'The Personal Project' with Anna Clarén will take place October 22TH from 19:00 - 21:30 CET / 1PM-3:30PM EST. The talk will be streamed LIVE on NORDphotography's Facebook page.

THE PANEL:

Anna Clarén (SE) is one of Sweden’s most recognised photographers and instructor of NORDphotography’s online Personal Project Mentor Class, where she has mentored the participating photographers over the past year. Her breakthrough series Holding (2006) won Best Photobook at the Swedish Photo Book Prize. Her work has been exhibited at Fotografiska and Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Värmlands Museum, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Caen, France, and is held in the Moderna Museet collection. Since 2006, she has also been Head Teacher at Nordens Fotoskola Biskops Arnö, nurturing new generations of visual storytellers.

Erlend Mikael Sæverud (NO) is a Norwegian fine art photographer whose distinctive work combines street photography, dramatic light and shadow, and elements of surrealism and film noir. His images transform everyday urban scenes into atmospheric, narrative worlds exploring the tension between reality and imagination. His work has been exhibited in Norway and internationally, including in New York, Belgium and the Netherlands, and is held in collections including Norges Bank and Ferd. Sæverud studied at Bilder Nordic School of Photography and previously worked as a musician and producer.

Jessica Jarl (SE) is Global Director of Exhibitions at Fotografiska, where she has worked since 2013. With a background in art history, photography and the performing arts, she leads the curatorial development, design and production of exhibitions across Fotografiska’s international locations. Working closely with artists, galleries and cultural partners worldwide, Jarl has curated and produced exhibitions featuring internationally acclaimed artists, including Andres Serrano, Rinko Kawauchi, Alex Prager and Andy Warhol.

The talk will be moderated by NORDphotography's and SAGA's founder Elisabeth N Aanes (NO).
