Iris will teach you to amplify what is important in the image and diminishing what’s not. She will show a couple of easy fixes that makes all the difference. The class will cover basic skin retouching, how to distribute light. Correcting skin tones and red spots. Plus making the eyes look bright yet natural.

Iris will also help participants find their style in retouching, as well as explore plugin filters like Portraiture and Exposure.

Iris uses Lightroom or Adobe RAW for basic settings, and the rest is done in Photoshop. The class also covers exporting and saving your images for the right purpose.

In the beginning of the class Iris will use her own raw image as an example to show her full process in post production from start to finish. You will then work on your own images.

We will record each session with Iris, and students can rewatch the class as many times as they need, until next class.

You will leave this class with basic portrait post-production skills, and if you practice enough, you will be able to use the lesson learned with Iris to develop your skillset further and master the art of portrait post-production to your satisfaction.
