CREATIVE RETREAT DESCRIPTION:

Our creative journey to Iceland in 2023 is with Paris based Australian photographer Vee Speers.

Speers is known for her dramatic story-telling portraiture, carefully choreographed, with a painterly and ethereal quality. The images often featuring ambiguous narratives, as evinced in their backgrounds and the sitters’ dress, often evoking Eden, the apocalypse, classical literature, youth, and glamour.

Set against the backdrop of the inspiring and uniquely graphic landscapes of Iceland, Speers will guide each participants to follow their own path as they experiment with new beginnings.

Speers will help you to become ‘unstuck’ from the old routines, and share with you her own personal journey. She will help you connecting to your creative powers and guide you on your quest to finding your unique signature, and a more focused directions in your work.
