CREATIVE LIGHTING - LEVEL 1
with Ragne K Sigmond
The art of lighting is a skill necessary to master if you want to excel in your photography.
SPECIFICS:
Day: Fridays
Time: 20:00 - 22:00 (CET) / 2PM to 4PM (EST)
Class dates: April 12, 19, May 3, 10, 31, June 7.

This class focuses on basic Light-painting techniques, and creative Light-painting techniques. It will also give you a better understanding of light in general.
The course consist of lectures with demonstrations, image critic, pluss technical and creative exercises. There will be given assignments in between classes, for participant to practise techniques learned in class. You will also get feed-back on your work, to help you perfect your skill.
Our Creative Lighting class is taught by esteemed Norwegian photographer Ragne K Sigmond, who has over 20 years of experience teaching photography, with a focus on lighting.
Equipment: camera where you have manual aperture and shutter settings, flashlight, tripod, computer, and a dark area/room you can use to practise light painting.
This course is a excellent preparation for Ragnes workshop 'The Creative Portrait', which takes place at our center SAGA Oct 29 - Nov 3.

NOK 7.200,- (currency converter)
The amount is listed in Norwegian Kroner (NOK)
REGISTRATION ON OUR COURSES ARE BINDING!
International students: You can pay us via PayPal or transfer your payment directly to our account. Please let us know when registration for a workshop your preferred method of payment. For PayPal payments there is a handling fee of 6 % of the amount paid that will be added to the invoice. For bank transfer there is a transaction fee. Check with your bank for the amount, and make sure the transaction fee is not deducted from the payment for the class.
For Norwegian invoices, which is sent to your e-mail, there will be an invoice fee added to the invoice of NOK 8,-. If you want the invoice sent via EFH the fee is: NOK 11,-. For regular post: NOK 32,-.
We need a min of 5 participants to run the course. There will be max 10 participants in this class.
Withdrawal and refund policy:
Enrollment is limited in our classes, so once you have registered for a class – we are counting on you to attend. The registration is binding. We do however understand that sometimes plans fall trough and offer the following cancellation policies:
Withdraw more than 30 days before the start of class and we will refund all money paid, minus an administration fee of NOK 1500,-.
Withdraw 30 days or less before the start of class and we will charge you with the full workshop tuition.
NORDphotography is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies.
Cancelation Rules:
For online course to run we need a minimum of five participants, unless otherwise noted in the class description. If we for some reason are not able to reach our minimum number, the class will be postponed or canceled and you will receive a full refund.
There will be a maximum of 10 students in each class, unless otherwise noted in the workshop description.
