The art of lighting is a skill necessary to master if you want to excel in your photography. 

This class's focus is to give you a better understanding of light in general, basic Light-painting techniques, and creative Light-painting techniques.


The course consist of lectures with demonstrations, image critic, pluss technical and creative exercises. There will be given assignments in between classes, for participant to practise techniques learned in class. You will also get feed-back on your work, to help you perfect your skill.


Our Creative Lighting class is taught by esteemed Norwegian photographer Ragne K Sigmond, who has over 15 years of experience teaching photography, and especially lighting. 


The class will meet on Monday, starting January 31ST, and wrapping on March 14TH.  

Time: 20:00 - 21:30 (CET) / 2PM to 3:30PM (EST)

Class dates: Jan 31, Feb 7, 14, 28, March 7 and 14.  

Language:  English/ Danish/ Norwegian

Max participants: 10

Equipment: camera where you have manual aperture and shutter settings, flashlight, tripod, computer, and a dark area/room you can use to practise light painting


Ragne also teaches our online class Creative Lighting Level 2, and is schedule to teach a Creative Lighting workshop at our center SAGA 19-24 April 2022, where you get to practise light-painting on models.

Registration on our courses are binding

You can pay via the bank or Paypal.

International students: You can pay us via PayPal or transfer your payment directly to our account. Please let us know when registration for a workshop your preferred method of payment. For PayPal payments there is a handling fee of 6% of the amount paid that will be added to the invoice. For bank transfer there is a transaction fee charged by your bank. Check with your bank for the amount.

For Norwegian costumers there is an Invoice Fee (fakturagebyr) of NOK 40,- added to the invoice. 

We need a minimum of 6 participants to run the course.
