This is a mentorship spanning over 8 months. It is important for the group dynamic that students commit to the process of the mentorship and come prepared with 10 new images to each group meeting. Dates are due to changes. If a change is necessary it will be cleared with the class in due time. For this group to run we need a minimum of 5 students.

This fall/winter NORDphotography offers an 8 month mentorship program for photographers looking to work on a long term project, with the goal of finishing a complete body of work within the length of the mentorship program.
Lectures, discussions and critique of student work will be the structure of the mentorship. Students can also schedule one-on-one consulting in between group meetings, if needed. For our creative assignments we will use Julia Cameron's beloved book "The Artist Way".
We will help discover, develop or fine-tune each photographer’s creative voice. You will come to this mentorship with an idea of a project. It can be an old project you want to finish, or a complete new idea you want executed. Once a month we will meet for lecture and group critique. The lecture will be tailored to each participant’s project, to give inspiration and guidance for further development. Each participant are asked to bring a minimum of 10 new images from their ongoing project to each group meeting. During this mentorship you will learn to develop a cohesive body of work, present work in a professional matter, to critique other photographers work, and to respond on critique of your own work.
Our goal is to enable our students to finish a body of work, and be able to present and find venues for it to live in. Weather it is a book, an exhibit, an event, or a new portfolio of work.
In addition to group meetings, there will also be offered one-on-one sessions with each students.

FIRST MEETING: September 28TH: Each participant most come to the group meeting with an idea for a project they want to work on for the next 8 months.
